Husband and wife duo Yoann and Sujin opened Sinabro on 18 June 2014, introducing Fine Dining to Battersea Rise, London. Yoann leads the kitchen as the sole chef, while Sujin manages the front of house.
Yoann CHEVET is from Loire-et-Cher, France, began his culinary career at the age of 14. His dishes focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and reflect his French roots, often inspired by his wife Sujin’s Korean heritage. He trained at top restaurants in Paris, including Taillevent, Le Meurice, and La Table de Joël Robuchon. In 2006, he took part in the opening of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in London and later contributed to the launches of Hélène Darroze at The Connaught and Galvin at Windows.
After achieving her bachelor’s degree at Ewha Woman's University, Sujin began her career as a flight attendant for Asiana Airlines, traveling the world and developing a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and cuisines. She later studied cuisine, pastry, and oenology at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and worked at Pavillon Ledoyen and La Table de Joël Robuchon, where she met Yoann.
Together, they curate Sinabro's cellar, handpicking wines showcasing various grape varieties, primarily sourced from esteemed winemakers across France.
