Tarte tatin, Créme fraîche, Caramel (6 - 7p)
We had many demands of baking festive cakes and will introduce some of the best traditional French pâtisseries during lockdown.
This dessert is delicious when eaten cold, but it is more luxurious and wonderful when eaten hot.
If you eat on the day you collect, store it at room temperature and warm it with residual heat after your cooking is finished and the oven timer goes off, place tarte tatin on a baking tray and warm this up gently while you enjoy main dish.
To heat separately, preheat the oven to 200C(180C fan) and let it warm for 5 - 7mins.
Attn! Remove the gold cake board when you put into the oven.
Serve with crème fraîche and a drizzle of extra cold caramel.
